Year Two, Part One is now ready:
(3-15-2012) The first 17 weeks of Year Two are now available. If you have completed Year One
and are ready to begin Year Two, please email me: jetted4@gmail.com (see below for pricing info).
Development of Year Two: (1-2-2012) After taking time off to evaluate another spelling program, I have decided to continue with my own. Given the appreciable time
investment in both Year One and Year Two, I will be charging a small fee of $8 (per household) for access to Year Two. Year One will remain free as it is now.
The first half of Year Two will be ready by early/mid March. The second half of Year Two will be ready by late June/early July.

First is a Scope and Sequence file (to date) and second is a sample lesson from the long vowel sounds section of Year Two. Over half of the lessons in Year Two will follow
the same format as was used in Year One; however, the long vowel sounds section deviates from that format to some degree. The below sample lesson file contains the explanation
for how that section is structured as well as one day's lesson.

(04-23-2012) Important Note, Please Read: I am this week in the process of reformatting the lessons
for Year One to be titled by Week instead of Rule Number (to make it easier to follow the flow without needing the Scope and Sequence document). I will also be
making a change to week 21's rule (rule 9a) in order to make it fit better with more advanced rules that are introduced in Year Two. This change will have some impact on
lessons following week 21. These changes will be completed by the end of this coming weekend (04/29/2012). Otherwise, the content of the lessons will remain the
same as in the current version.
Note 01-5-2012: Spelling rule 4A - Corrected an error in the example [days 2&3]. 4A answer key - Corrected an error in day 2 answers.

Note 04-10-2011: As I was preparing rule 8 (more on silent 'e'), I realized that it'd be best if I made small changes to a few of
the earlier lessons to prepare for it. It's not critical for you to have the changes, but I think rule 8 will be smoother if the kids use the
updated versions. Check the list on each page of this web site to see which files have been updated.
Note 04-12-2011: Lesson 3 in rule 6c (on page 2 of this web site) required more substantial changes in order to be consistent with the
new rule 8. Rule 7 and review 1-7 received minor updates to reflect the changes to rule 6c.
- My apologies for the recent changes to some of the files (mostly in later rules). I guess that's the challenge with any new resource...as you develop later
material you discover ways that it impacts other existing material. I suppose that's why many textbooks release new editions.
Update 04-28-2011: Added page numbering to all of the units. No changes to the content.
Important Note 6-2-2011: I made some modifications to the instructions (and answer keys) for rules 6b, 6c, and 8a
in order to make the gray, green, and tan rules work together better (most of the sentences to diagram in the lessons remain unchanged).
Units 6b and 6c are now ready (on page 2 of this web site).
Note 6-5-2011: Updates (to all files 6a through rule 12) resulting from improvements to 6a, 6b, and 8a are now complete.
Note 6-20-2011: There are a total of 31 weeks in this spelling program averaging 4 lessons per week (a few of the units have 3 or 5 lessons, most have 4).
This gives you a few weeks to focus on sight words that don't fit well into any spelling rule but are age-appropriate to learn.
Note 06-23-2011: Added a pdf outlining the "scope and sequence" of the program to page 1 of the web site.
Note 06-24-2011: Mini-unit 9c has been added. Unit 9b has been updated to include a note indicating that 9c should be completed
during the same week (as a 5th lesson day for that week).
Note 06-25-2011: Added a cover page for the spelling program to page 1 of the web site.
Note 07-23-2011: Added a 2nd version of the end of year test to the final cumulative review (units 1-14).
Note 07-31-2011: Added a "Version B" for the end of year test (just in case you need it).
